This Privacy Policy explains how Color Fool ("we", "our", or "the App"), developed by Pritam Mondal (PritamPips), collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to transparency and respecting player privacy.

1. Information We Collect and Process

A. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Player Display Name: You can customize an in-game nickname solely to identify yourself on your local screen and in multiplayer lobbies. It is saved locally on your device via AsyncStorage. No user account, email, or password is created or stored.
Game Preferences: Settings such as slider orientation (left-handed or right-handed), custom timer durations, and difficulty levels are stored locally on your device.

B. Information We Do NOT Collect Directly

Color Fool does not collect:

Personal Identifiable Information (real names, physical home addresses, phone numbers, or emails).
Financial, credit card, or payment data.
Device contacts, photo library, camera, or microphone data.
Precise GPS location.

2. Third-Party Services & Advertising (Google AdMob)

To support continuous development and offer Color Fool as a free game, the App displays third-party advertisements served by Google AdMob.

Non-Personalized Ads & Frequency Cap: We configure ad requests to non-personalized modes (requestNonPersonalizedAdsOnly: true). Furthermore, interstitial ads are capped to show strictly at natural match transitions, at most once every 2 finished games.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK integrated into the App may automatically collect and process certain data for advertising, fraud prevention, and analytics:

Online & Device Identifiers: Android Advertising ID (AD_ID / AAID), device identifiers, IP address, and connection characteristics.
Interaction & Diagnostic Data: Ad views, clicks, crash logs, and app performance diagnostics.
Coarse Location: Non-precise general location derived from IP addresses to deliver geographically compliant ads.

Managing Your Advertising ID & Opting Out

You have full control over your advertising identifiers. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID on your Android device at any time:

Open Settings on your Android phone.
Go to Google → Ads (or All services → Ads).
Tap Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID.

3. Real-Time Multiplayer Infrastructure (Supabase)

Color Fool offers live multiplayer rooms powered by Supabase Realtime:

Transient & Ephemeral: 6-digit room codes, live color slider guesses, and round standings are exchanged over secure, encrypted WebSockets (wss://).
No Persistent Profiles: Player presence and scores exist only during the active match and are permanently cleared when the room closes or players disconnect.

4. Offline Solo Play

Solo gameplay runs 100% locally on your device. Color difference formulas (CIELAB ΔE), timers, and scoring algorithms execute entirely offline without transmitting gameplay data across the internet.

5. Data Security

All network communications (multiplayer synchronization, ad requests) are transmitted exclusively using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (HTTPS / TLS / WSS) encryption.

6. Children's Privacy

Color Fool is intended for general audiences aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us for immediate deletion.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date.
